Rob Sobeck has been involved in construction for over 17 years and has enjoyed living in several places. After apprenticing Russ Melton, owner of Charlottesville Handyman, he moved to Bicknell IN and continued working in construction on a friend’s complete home remodel. Rob progressed into mold remediation, commercial greenhouses, roofing, and working with a variety contractors over the next several years. Coming back to his roots and central Virginia, he has owned Sunshine Handyman LLC for 6 years and would be glad to talk with you about any project.

Along with wife, Auna Sobeck, Rob enjoys making the old into new, upcycling furnishings and fixtures, and revitalizing houses that new a little tender loving care (and a sledgehammer).
